Editing privacy settings

To edit your privacy settings in the app, tap through to your profile page, then tap ‘My Settings.’ Scroll down and tap through ‘Account Settings,’ then ‘Privacy Settings.’ On Android, tap the drawer tab (3 lines on the top left of your screen)  and then tap 'Settings.' Scroll down and tap through to 'Privacy Settings' and edit as you see fit.

On the website, go to https://foursquare.com/settings to edit your information. Be sure to click ‘save changes’ before navigating away from the page!
